It’s not exactly new..

But that Big Sista has been so busy blogging her own blogs, hmph! and Facebooking that she forgot MY own blog! *bark* Bad Sista. If I were in Facebook, I’d have my chance to poke her all I want. Czo she always poke my ear for fun, then laugh when I flap my ears.

I got talent. I can move my ears up, down, left, right -35°. Can you? Wanna bet?! WANNA BET?! 1 BIG JAR OF COOKIES!

And she put up my old picture! This was at a night… long time ago. I was sitting near the door, body and mind heavy from big dinner. I know her trick but damnnit, I love food! Food is my gonna be my downfall aii..

I got no more balls la. 1 got lost, the other chewed to death. You wan to give me one? Give me big, squeezy one oh, coz I can BITE real hard. *bare teeth*

If Big Sista give me another ball, I would keep quiet. I swear I will NOT bark at the postman and people passing advertisements into the mailbox. Maybe.

So eh. My head is not that big. My body is very loooooooooooooooooooong but like I said, I have my body physical talents. I can curl up my body into a circle. Can you? If you can curl more than me, I give you.. mm.. 1 cookie.

If not, you give me 10 cookie. Hhahahhahahahahahaa..

Eat dog, eat cat

In February, the Federal Territory Veterinary Services Department visited a doublestorey house in Puchong Saujana, Selangor, after being alerted by an animal protection group that its occupants — foreign construction workers — were allegedly butchering puppies.

A resident had earlier complained about hearing dogs yelping before becoming silent. It would be followed by the sound of the cutting of meat and bones from the back of the kitchen.

The resident claimed to have seen blood in the drain the next day.

The Malay Mail 16 June 2007 – Deadly ‘dog house’

It’s so terrible! Eating my kind! And puppies some more!

How to save water

Posted in Animals, Behaviour, Family, Food, Health, Hygiene on 15 June 2007 by iamrainbow
  • Use a bottle to give me water (like those hamster water bottle) instead of water bowl.
  • Use rain water or used water from your shower/bath/washing clothes to clean up my poo & pee nature calls.
  • If you have some sort of filtering mechanisme for rain water, you can use those water on me too. For external uses anyway.
  • Ummm… have a tub of water – better yet, a small plastic swimming pool – neh, those kids play one – for my bath. Then you don’t have to lure or trick me to the bathe area. Turn the tap off on me when you are bathing me.
  • Water me from top – water will drip down and wet the bottom part anyway. Just cup some water in your palm if my stomach or other areas are not wet enough.
  • To make sure I drink all the water you provide, put some good smelling food into it. I’ll drink it all up!
  • DON’T spray me with water whenever I bark unnecessarily. Just use loud noise (if ok) or give me food 😉 (Big Sista – just use the muzzle)
  • Any other ideas? Please let me know more so that I can score more treats hehe.

Siew Chu Yuk

Posted in Animals, Behaviour, Family, Food, Health on 29 May 2007 by iamrainbow

Cantonese: Siew (burnt) Chu (pig) Yuk (meat)

Very salty. You can see them being sacrificed on Buddhist/Taoist celebrations like Chinese New Year, War God birthday, asking for blessings, funerals, Cheng Beng and weddings, etc. It’s not cheap..

It’s so cruel to kill the animals just to offer meat to the Gods. If human do good instead of kill, their wishes would come true faster and clearer!

For my Big Sista’s cousin’s wedding, they had 1 pig slaughtered. 😦 I hoped that pig died peacefully. It was BIG… Triple my size! And no more hair? It was in red.

Some of the aunties blabbered among each other, “You take some home lar.”

“Don’t have that many people eat lar! Enough!!!”

“Give to your dog lah!”

Another cousin said, “Siew Chu Yuk how can give to dog? Will lose hair loh!

“Aiya, won’t lose hair one lah! My dog is those.. choy (direct translation: vegetable, it means: mongrel, stray dog) dog!”

So choy dog means no need to care about it’s health?

Salt makes us lose our hair more. Then human complain we lose our hair a lot and dirty the floor. Make them sneeze and allergy.. have to sweep the floor many times!

*hands up*
